How Can I Check How Much RAM is Installed in My Mac® Computer?

Using our Crucial® Advisor™ tool is a great way to find out how much RAM memory is installed in your Mac computer as well as displaying your upgrade options.

You can also check the amount of RAM currently installed from within your macOS® by following the steps below:

· Click on the Apple® logo in the top left corner and select About This Mac

· The amount of memory currently installed will be displayed in the overview window that appears

If you would like to check exactly what is installed in each slot simply select the Memory tab. This will also mention the memory speed that your Mac computer supports.
